Archery Sessions

Shooting is possible throughout the year, 7 days a week.

Club days are Wednesday evenings 5pm until dusk, and Sunday 1pm until dusk.

We hold beginners and taster sessions throughout the summer months, April to October. Mainly in evenings but we can accommodate daytime also. We accept juniors from age 10, and in exceptional cases from age 8 (on showing exceptional ability).

Beginners on completing an archery course can continue to use the club’s equipment for 6 months or until they purchase their own.

We also welcome experienced archers.

Formation of Euston Park Bowmen

April 1987

Euston Park Bowmen was established by Adrian Franks (Secretary) after moving here from the Great Yarmouth area on 16th March 1987, with the help of Michael Callaghan (Records Officer), Adrian's wife Shirley and step daughter Jo who then later moved to Warwick University to study maths and statistics. In September 1987 Jo then represented Great Britain at the 1998 Seoul Olympic Games, where she finished overall 7th place. Jo was British Ladies Target Champion numerous times plus she represente Great Britain in Field Archery also. In 1991 Adrian attained the classification of Grand Master Bowman, (The first Man to get this in the Norfolk county) plus he was ranked 11th in Great Britain.
